Dr. Sam P. Most is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where he graduated with High Honors and subsequently studied at Stanford University School of Medicine. As a student at Stanford School of Medicine, Dr. Most was awarded a Howard Hughes grant and received the Dean’s Award for Research.
His postgraduate training included an internship in general surgery Yale University and residency in otolaryngology-head & neck surgery at the University of Washington, where he also completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Most has served as Chief of the Division of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at both the University of Washington (2002-2006) and Stanford University School of Medicine (2006-present). He is also appointed as Professor in the Departments of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and Surgery (Plastic).
Dr. Most has published numerous articles on the topic of rhinoplasty, with special emphasis on evidence-based outcomes. He is currently Vice President for Research and Development in the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, a board member of the Rhinoplasty Society, and Associate Editor of JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery. He is also the managing director of the upcoming Advances in Rhinoplasty Meeting in Chicago (May 4-7, 2017).
