Ashkan Ghavami, MD
Dr. Ashkan Ghavami is a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing in Beverly Hills area. In addition to serving as Assistant Clinical Professor at the David Geffen UCLA School of Medicine, Dr. Ghavami is an active member and also serves on numerous committees for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), International Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), the Hawaii Plastic Surgery Symposium, ASPS, and the Dallas Rhinoplasty Symposium. Dr. Ghavami serves as a guest reviewer for the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal as well as the Aesthetic Surgery Journal. He is also an executive board member for the Rhinoplasty Society.
Dr. Ghavami completed his Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
After attending medical school at the University of Wisconsin Medical School. He graduated as a Biology major at the University of California-Irvine. Dr Ghavami has been an invited expert panelist and lecturer nationally and internationally on rhinoplasty, buttock and body shaping with fat transfer, as well as facial rejuvenation topics. He has numerous books chapters and peer reviewed articles on mostly rhinoplasty and is currently editing an upcoming textbook.
